Baby Shower

So these pictures are kind of out of order but you will eventually get the picture! The baby shower was last Saturday on Oct 24 and it was seriously such a blast!! Only 1 minor problem-people dont RSVP anymore :) So we really had no idea how many people were going to show up-and there was quite the turn out! It so super exciting to have a big get together before the baby is born!!
Anyway-my dad took all these shots candid so I look semi silly in most of them but I love them! Thanks DADDY! :) And thanks to my mom and Brandi for throwing it! They did great! The green blankets my mother-in-law made and i ADORE them. The baby's nursery is in frogs and turtles so she made matching fleece blankets. We also got a snow suit and some Carters sleep bags which I love!! Over all it was fantastic and everyone was great! I still have lots I need to get-but there is still time right? Its going by so quick!

Date night and updates :)

So I've been horrible about updating the blog and I have no legitimate excuse. Im a stay at home housewife right now and it still seems like there is never time! But Im working on it. Benjamin and I have been trying to make Thursdays our "date night" we want to get into the routine of having one now so even after the baby is born we still have them and keep in mind that they are still important! So we headed off to ButterBurrs! LOVE IT THERE! Espically because you can get a full meal for $5.99! Then we went up to Cherry Springs (where Ben and i had our first date and where he proposed) so we took the camera and took turns taking pictures and here are some of them!
Also we are almost 29 weeks pregnant! Crazy how fast time is going! My neice Stella will be here in about 4 weeks and Im so excited! I cant believe how fast our pregnancies have gone-only 81 days!! We had another ultrasound and everything is checking out fine. The placenta has moved and a quote from my doctor :
"um, yes you had placenta previa and it was complete. Um, yes it has now moved. No, its nowhere near your cervix, yes i have pictures to prove both! You guys must really have someone on the other end rooting for you" and I know that is how it happened, all the prayers must have worked-so it looks like we are set for a "normal" delivery after all!! SO STOKED!!! The picture of him is kind of hard to make out but here is a little explanation-his head is in the lower right, his back lays along the bottom and his hips are in the upper left, he then has his knees brought down to his face and his toes tucked behind his head and a hand sticking up between his legs and he was waving! I love ultrasounds, they are so much fun! We might be having one more 3d/4d but we will see how things work out! Ill keep posting with whatelse has been going on :)

Some pictures of the nursery-

Well we finally ordered our nursery bedding set today and started putting things together instead of just having boxes around. I LOVE turtles-so we went with green, blue, and brown with frogs and turtles! I LOVE IT!!! Anyway-here are some pictures!

Ok-ultrasound number 5-boy were we suprised!!!

So we had another ultrasound today! The "big" one to take all the measurements and things like that! Turns out the baby is really a
BOY!!!!

We are not really quite sure what happened there but there it was, clear as day! ITS DEFINTALY A BOY!!

Anyway, so back to the drawing board we go! We are so excited! Im really happy to have a boy first! I have another ultrasound in a few weeks to check his heart again but the tech showed us about 8 times! Its definatly a boy! We were just in shock that we had her keep showing us. She got quite a kick out of it! When i get the pictures put up i will post them!!

GIRL!!!!


We are so excited we can hardly contain it! We had this ultrasound in SLC and it was such a great experience. Ben had to stay home due to a horrible migraine but we got the whole thing on video for him! She was being pretty stubborn but we got a few more good pictures!
One thing we know is she has tiny feet, the sonographer was commenting on how tiny they were! Other than that we have bought a few outfits and now have the joy of naming her :)

Ultrasound #3

Well so far this pregnancy is progressing with minor problems! Or minor to us. I went to for another appointment and found out that I have complete placenta previa-with a 2% chance for it to move. So...Im now considered high risk and I'm on modified bedrest until i deliver and get to plan for a C-section. My next ultrasound is in about 5 weeks ( to check the placenta) so benjamin and I are headed down to Salt Lake on Thursday for ultrasound #4 and to see the gender! We are really excited for it! So here is yet again, not a very good picture but it works :D I will also have a 3/4d ultrasound to check the placenta around 25-27 weeks! im pretty excited! looks like we will have lots of pictures of our new little baby :D

Another ultrasound!

Well this ultrasound was NOT as good as the last one but with both ultrasound techs being out of the office I guess this was the best that they could do. As most of you know i had a suspected tear of my placenta last week and was put on immediate bedrest until Monday when i could be examined and well it worked! This ultrasound was done by one of the PA's and all she was doing was checking if it heart was still beating and it was! She couldnt tell me how big it was or how fast the heart was beating or where the placenta is attached but at least we know they are doing alright! i have another appt on August 3rd and ill be 15 weeks, they said we might get a little peak at the gender! Im so excited! Other than that, work was too hard with all the complication and with losing 2 little ones in the past so monday was my last day at Jacksons after two and a half years there! So if anyone needs any baby sitting done, ha ha hit me up! :D
