What a Romantic Valentines :D

So I had originally request Valentines off, I figure as a newlywed that it would be nice to have our first one together! So I requested the day off, and they scheduled me 5 hours ( much better than the normal 9 I suppose) But it was well worth the wait. I had to work until 6, and I waited for Benjamin to tell me I could come home, when I did...he greeted me at the door and took me inside and took my coat and purse! All the lights were off and he had moved the table into the living room and made it the full circle (More space in the living room) and this is what I saw (minus the lights)

He had made he chicken cacciatore with angel hair pasta and cherry glazed carrots! And sparking grape juice and milk and DESSERT! Get ready for this! A pastry puff--and in the middle had melted hersheys chocolate mixed with whipping creme and then melted twix and then a chocolate glaze that went over it! Pretty much the best thing I had EVER had! That was not all! Then there was a trail of flower petals to the bedroom and spread out over the bed! Then there was a teddy bear, a velvet box of chocolates and a big reeces peanut butter cup in the shape of a heart! And a dozen roses spread out on the bed (he took the picture before hand) and we carried the candles around and did everything by candle light that night! Here is another picture (minus the roses)
He was seriously so good to me! I only got him like a chocolate rose and a bunch of stuff like that (I let Joey pick it out, so they all have trains on them! He was the closest boy I could find to help me pick out stuff, so what if he is only 3! But it was a great valentines and one to remember! I am the luckiest girl in the world :)

A Pretty Sweet Gift!

Benjamin's family has had another family friend since they lived in Salt Lake (so Benjamin was just a kid). The fathers served in the same mission. Well we got a wedding present from them a few days ago and we thought it was pretty cool so we thought we would share! We got hand towels, an apron, hot pads, and a cake carrier, and a pan with our name etched in the bottom. Perfect for all the pot lucks--guarenteed to get our pan back :)

Anyone wanna go half-sies?!?

So here is the moral of the story. This company called Yummy meats is having its grand opening. One of the guys came into my work to buy something and I asked about it. He brought in this box of steaks and they looked REALLY good--price was good too, 189 for the box. I told him I would go home and talk to Benjamin and we would call him back. Well he showed up again today, told me that he was trying to get a bonus and would sell the box for 160! No tax, no nothing! Sounded too good to be true (the box sells for 389 online!) I called benjamin and he gave me the go ahead! We spend so much on meat that this will really help alot! Problem--we dont really need this much--so if anyone wants to buy half or part of it they are more than welcome :)
P.S. I highly reccomend them. If anyone wants another box for 189 ( They have chicken and seafood and stuff too (yummymeats.com) Let me know and Ill get another box for free! We can pay half and share the food :) )
There are:
Beef Filet of Tenderloin
Pure Chopped Beef Steak
New York Steak
Beef Tenderloin Medallions
and Prime Rib of steak (bone-in) Beef Ribeye
Here are some pics :)

Benjamins happy day!

Well we had been having issues for a while because Benjamin is at school sometimes for most of the day. He is in class for extended periods of time and has a hard time keeping his notes up, legible, and organized. So we had been trying for a while to find him just a cheap laptop--when we stubled into Costco today (Thanks to Kira's spare card) we found THE SWEETEST laptop for 299. And since its Tax refund time I decided to get it for him. He couldnt have been happier. It is pretty sweet-Windows XP, wireless internet, webcam and microphone, 160 Gig hard drive (more than my desktop has) and so much more! A GREAT GREAT BUY! So here are a few pictures!
